Golden Goodness: How to Make Flavorful Turmeric Rice

Not only is it tasty, but it is also packed with health benefits due to the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric. Goddess Retreat: Glow Goddess Menu

Ingredients

  • 2 cup rice

Blend

  • 2 tbsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 pcs shallot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 tsp lime Juice
  • 4 tbsp  Turmeric 

Herbs

  • 1bay leaf
  • 1 cafirlime leaf
  • 1 lemon grass
  • Pinch of salt & pepper

Preparations

Step 1 : Blend turmeric, coriander seeds, shallot, garlic, with coconut milk and water. Strain

Step 2 : Cooked rice in medium pot with lid add mixture  liquid And herbs   bring to simmer -+ 10 minutes Turn off stove and cover with lid and steam for 10 more minutes after. 

Or add all ingredients and strain liquid and cooked in rice cooker

Step 3 : for serving add bit of coconut oil and fried shallot .
